Allow me to quote a line from yesterday's Sunday Times

firstly , who exactly is the authority who sets the standard for differentiating between "inane" and "intellectual" blogging ?

am i an inane writer just because i don't over-analyse the political scene in singapore or litter my writings with shakespearean quotes ?

are the rest of the bloggers inane writers as well just because they don't execute the language with finesse ?

i think its a crying shame that leisure writing have to be done under scrutiny.
