everything in the media is pro-PAP , and the few lone articles about the opposition are always negative.

today i asked my grandma who she would be voting for and suddenly her usually baritone voice was reduced into a whisper

"i'm voting for the opposition!"

i was pleasantly surprised.

"i think its only fair that the other party gets a chance" , was her simple explanation.

if my grandfather was still around he would have voted against the PAP as well , i'll never forget his fueled rants against our minister mentor and the government.
