after a spectacularly memorable-in-a-bad way date a few nights ago, i successfully striked mr.chorizo out from my dateable list.

which leaves me with.. effectively no one on the list.

which means... i will probably be a sick sad single again on valentine's.

as for the spanish un-lover, let's just say we're better off with online conversations. i guess my impression of him when we first met at the press event was not so accurate since i only managed to speak to him fleetingly. in fact, i got so bored and wanted to leave so badly that i had to pretend to talk to my phone so that i could scoot off.

me ( in a discreetly loud voice :p ) : HELLO? yan ah? whats up? OH SHIT I FORGOT! but i'm in the midst of something here.. hmm.. i see.. okay.. okay then, i'll see you later.

me: *pretends to look flustered while clicking away on the very useful prop- my handphone*

mr.chorizo : is everything okay?

me: ah.. urm.. well, actually i had already arranged for a round of drinks with my friends but i forgot. and i'll have to join them if not my head's at stake *looks at him with hesistant but downcast eyes*

mr.chorizo: i see. run along then! i'm okay with it if you're wondering. i'll just walk home *wide grin*

me: really? gee, i feel really bad about finishing this off so abruptly!

mr.chorizo: hey no sweat, there's always the next time!

me: yeah of course.

so much for hoping that he'll be able to distract me from the balding cheat. right. tough luck, girlie.

if there's one ( or two. or three. or... ) thing that'll make me smile, it'll be these.



i am SO in love with this cheery dress from Anthropology!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i can totally imagine myself running against the wind in this ala sound of music, with white ballet flats and a white clutch. and bright red earrings, just for the contrast.



this dress, from Anthropology as well, has also caught my eye, though not so much as the green one. it'll look awesome with white rounded heels/wedges !!!

sadly i know how unflattering these dresses would look on me, as i've been to the Anthropology stores in LA before and i know just how huge their sizes are. bleddy hell. just as well anyway, since the prices are always hovering around the USD$200 tag.

but oh, i'd gladly fork out big bucks for 'em if they came in my size!

i see alot of mini dresses coming this season, and leggings finally making their exit though they're still extensively featured in many spring/summer 07 collections, especially Chanel's.

i have all the reasons to blow my moolah on clothes, since its chinese new year! YAY!
